Precisazioni sui cani e le donne portate in Italia dall’Ucraina

In qualità di Amministratore del gruppo Amici Del golden Retriever , mi trovo a  dover rispondere ad accuse e capricci di chi è stato aiutato dal nostro gruppo  a scappare da una guerra dove le donne vengono violentate e appese ai pali.

Ci tengo a fare queste precisazioni, non perchè abbiamo bisogno di difenderci, non abbiamo nulla da dimostrare oltre quello che abbiamo fatto.

in questo comunicato chiarirò e ribadirò quali sono le azioni da noi compiute e dove terminano le nostre competenze e responsabilità. Dato che ci sono altre persone che fanno parte di questa catena di solidarietà, mi sento di stare dalla loro parte. 

 partirò dal principio.

  La maggior parte di voi conosce la vicenda delle due sorelle ucraine, che abbiamo portato qui con la collaborazione di Enpa. Come saprete dagli aggiornamenti che mettevamo tutti i giorni(vedere  nelle comunicazioni del gruppo e  sezione news del sito), è stato molto difficile fare tutto questo e anche e soprattutto grazie alle donazioni del gruppo che si è potuto fare.

Lo avremmo rifatto mille altre volte, lo abbiamo fatto per il bene dei cani e delle donne. scrivo lo abbiamo perchè c’è anche Alessandra Ciri che ha partecipato attivamente con me.

Abbiamo dovuto trovare una soluzione in pochi giorni, la migliore che si potesse trovare dato che nessuno, poteva ospitare 82 cani e tanto più nessuno poteva ospitare le donne nello stesso luogo dei cani. La cosa è stata talmente eclatante che sono usciti 6 articoli di giornale e servizi Rai.

Il luogo trovato è un rifugio, non un allevamento, un rifugio con box coperti, ampi spazi, con possibilità di movimento per i cani e con un appartamento per le donne. Certo non è il confort della loro casa, non ci saranno le stesse abitudini del loro allevamento, dovranno adattarsi in alcune cose, ma sono insieme ai loro cani che è anche il loro lavoro. Sicuramente quando torneranno avranno preservato tutto, vita, cani e lavoro..e non è poco. Dal primo giorno è presente l’autorità veterinaria di Perugia, i cani sono stati visitati e stanno tutti bene malgrado i giorni di viaggio.

La signora Lia che gestisce il rifugio era contenta di aiutare tanti cani e dare ospitalità alle donne, ha chiesto solo un pò di collaborazione da parte loro e di poter essere aiutata quando avrebbero finito di governare i loro cani.

Dopo il loro arrivo sono iniziati i problemi con Lia, la stessa lamenta da subito l’impazienza dapprima di Tanya poi delle 2 donne( la sorella è arrivata dopo con Enpa) Lamenta richieste sempre più pressanti.

Premetto che Lia ha 73 anni ed ha a che fare con i cani da molti anni, sà sicuramente cosa vuol dire governare dei cani. Ma comunque lascia libertà di governare come meglio credono i loro cani che ricordiamo fanno parte di due allevamenti( Golden, Corgi, Flat e Mastiff)

Purtroppo con nostro grande rammarico le donne non collaborano e in più non rispettano le regole della casa, sono pur sempre ospiti.

Di questo comportamento possiamo dire di essere testimoni diretti, dato che durante le fasi del viaggio, le donne ci hanno creato gli stessi problemi e fatto gli stessi capricci. Anche se contrariati non ci abbiamo fatto caso, vista la situazione. Per questo mi sento di appoggiare Lia.

Noi, io e Alessandra, sentiamo spesso sia Lia che loro che le volontarie. Alessandra si è anche recata una seconda volta al rifugio, per vedere come andava e portare un po di spesa. Alessandra ha fatto anche delle foto e i cani stavano tutti bene. Le donne sono seguite e monitorate dal primo giorno, anche tramite l’utilizzo di varie traduttrici, che gli hanno spiegato varie cose.

  Negli ultimi giorni si sono acutizzati i problemi fra Lia e Le due sorelle, tanto che Lia giustamente, ha espresso il desiderio di allontanarle dal rifugio , perché quella è  la sua casa, il suo rifugio e la sua vita e lei malgrado i suoi 73 anni è comunque una donna con una grande forza e anche se ha aperto il suo cuore ora ha tutto il diritto di chiuderlo a chi non la rispetta. 

La cosa più grave è che sono stati pubblicati alcuni post, da parte delle donne  dove si lamentano di varie cose, e tirano in ballo Lia e noi, scrivendo che i cani non sono trattati bene, quando sono loro che li governano, scrivendo che Lia non vuole mettere il riscaldamento nella Nursey per la nascita dei cuccioli( ci sono alcune cagne gravide) Lia ha riattivato una caldaia a sue spese e ci volevano alcuni giorni, quindi loro il riscaldamento lo hanno avuto. Ma hanno voluto comunque scrivere questa calunnia. Cosa sono questi problemi, per altro risolti, in confronto a stare sotto le bombe  a me sembra una cosa accettabile, credo anche a tutti quelli che leggono. Scrivono che un cane si è ferito, facendo il nostro nome, ma chi c’è in rifugio? Noi o loro? noi ci siamo stati solo il primo giorno.

Gli è stato segnalato da più persone della ferita del mastiff ma loro hanno voluto aspettare, hanno detto che non c’era problema, il risultato? Che la ferita e in cancrena e comunque è stato portato in clinica veterinaria a Perugia e curato, quindi l’assistenza è stata tempestiva. Si lamentano perchè vedono qualche topolino, ma assurdo pensare che in un posto di campagna, non si veda qualche topolino, ripeto sono scappate dalle bombe e dal rischio serio di violenze e fanno le foto ai topolini, per accusare un paese che gli ha aperto il cuore si lamentano sempre e pretendono con insistenza vessando la padrona del rifugio. Oltre tutto la signoria Lia per queste accuse, rischia che si metta in discussione lo status di rifugio, anche se sono calunnie e cose dette sui social, la signora ha paura di questo.

Ma la cosa più assurda che tirano in ballo noi che non siamo li! 

Noi siamo profondamente delusi, questo comportamento è inaccettabile, queste donne non stanno avendo rispetto delle persone e del paese che le ospita.

Voglio ribadire  che noi come gruppo abbiamo organizzato il viaggio, le abbiamo assistite anche dopo per diversi giorni.

il nostro compito è finito, ora sono ospiti di un rifugio e sono in carico alle autorità veterinarie della provincia di perugia. C’é una dottoressa molto professionale e paziente che le segue. é stato fatto tutto secondo le regole, è stato comunicata la loro presenza in questura e i cani seguiti. Chiaramente non ci giriamo dall’altra parte, noi siamo con Lia, siamo sicuri che farà l’interesse dei cani.

Ripeto I cani sono seguiti dall’asl e stanno bene.  Però ora non vogliamo più stare dietro a questi post e questi capricci.

Siamo sicuri che capirete.  Non risponderemo più alle domande, perché per noi la questione è chiusa, perché non riteniamo opportuno inseguire e soprattutto rispondere a simili accuse. come scritto sopra chi vuole pùò consultare il sito o il gruppo, ci sono foto, documenti e resoconti.

Tuttavia Vi Daremo comunque  degli aggiornamenti se necessario e se  importanti, per rispetto di chi ha donato e per  dovere di informazione. 

perché noi abbiamo la coscienza apposto sicuri della fiducia di tutti voi . 

concludo con un bel pensiero.

Oggi mi ha scritto una persona del gruppo e ha espresso un concetto che condivido pienamente, sicuro che molti di voi siano d’accordo e voglio trasmettervelo: il pensiero di chi mi ha scritto è che malgrado tutto è contenta di aver portato qui due donne a prescindere dal loro comportamento, a prescindere da come finirà, perchè aver messo al sicuro qui da noi anche solo 2 persone e 82 cani è stata comunque una cosa bella, questo è il cuore di noi Italiani, malgrado tutto, questo è il cuore che abbiamo!, spero che Tanya e Ljuba leggeranno questa frase.

CLARIFICATIONS ABOUT THE DOGS AND WOMEN BROUGHT TO ITALY FROM UKRAINE As Administrator of the Amici del Golden Retriever (Friends of the Golden Retriever) group, I find myself having to respond to the accusations and whims of those who have been helped by our group to escape from a war where women are abused and hung on poles.I want to make these clarifications, not because we need to defend ourselves, we have nothing to prove beyond what we have accomplished.In this press release I will clarify and reiterate what actions we have carried out and where our competences and responsibilities end. Since there are other people who are part of this chain of solidarity, I feel that we are in this together. I’ll start from the beginning.Most of you know the story of the two Ukrainian sisters, whom we brought here with the collaboration of ENPA (National Animal Protection Agency in Italy). As you will know from the updates that we had put every day (see in the communications of the group and news section of the site), it was very difficult to achieve all of this and it is above all, thanks to the donations of the group that could be done.
We would have done it a thousand more times, we did it for the good of dogs and women. I am writing it because there is also Alessandra Ciri who actively participated with me.
We had to find a solution in a few days, the best that could be found since no one could accommodate 82 dogs and even more so no one could host women in the same place as the dogs. The thing was so amazing that 6 newspaper articles and RAI (Italian national broadcasting company) services came out.
The place that was found is a dog shelter, not a breeder’s, a shelter with covered boxes, large spaces, with the possibility of movement for dogs and with an apartment for the women (owners of the dogs). Of course, it not like the comfort of their home, it is impossible to maintain the same routine as they had at home, they have had to adapt in some things, but they are together with their dogs which is also their work. Surely, when they return, they will have preserved everything, life, dogs and work… and that’s not a small thing. From the first day the veterinary authority of Perugia (where the shelter is located) has been present, the dogs have been examined and they are all fine despite their days of travel.
Mrs. Lia who runs the shelter, was happy to help so many dogs and to offer hospitality to the owners, asking only for a little cooperation from the women, for them to help her out when they have finished taking care of their dogs.
Soon after their arrival, the problems with Lia began with her immediately complaining of the impatience, first of Tanya (Tajana) and then of the 2 women (Tatjana’s sister arrived a few days later with ENPA) and Lia laments their increasingly pressing requests.
Let me state that Lia is 73 years old and has been dealing with dogs for many years and she certainly knows what it means to care for them. But in any case, she has left all freedom to the sisters to govern their dogs as they see fit. The dogs are part of two kennels with Golden Retriever, Welsh Corgi, Flat Coated Retriever and English Mastiff).
Unfortunately, to our great regret and even though they are still guests, the women do not cooperate and moreover they do not respect the house rules.
We can say that we were direct witnesses of this behaviour in various phases of the journey also to arrive in Italy, (similar types of problems with their actions and similar scenes and outbursts)and even if we were disappointed in this, given the situation, we presevered.  Also for this experience, is why I feel my support with Lia.
We, Alessandra and I, often hear both Lia and the sisters and the shelter volunteers. Alessandra also went to the refuge a second time, to see how they were doing and to bring some shopping. Alessandra also took some pictures and the dogs seemed to all be fine. The women were supported and monitored from day one, also through the use of various translators, who explained various things to them.
In recent days, the problems between Lia and the two sisters have intensified, so much so that Lia rightly expressed the desire to have them leave the shelter which is her home, her refuge and her life and she, despite her 73 years, is still a woman with great strength. Even if she has opened her heart, she has every right to close it to those who do not respect her.
The worst thing is that some posts have been published, by the sisters where they complain about various things, and bring up Lia, and our group, writing that the dogs are not treated well, when they are the ones who are actually caring for them. They’ve also written that Lia doesn’t want to put the heating in the Nursey for the birth of the puppies (there are some pregnant bitches) when Lia has reactivated a boiler, at her expense, and it took a few days, but they have had heating. Nonetheless they still wanted to write these defamatory remarks. 
What are these problems, moreover resolved, compared to being under the bombing? It seems to me an acceptable thing, I also believe to all those who read. They wrote that a dog was injured, mentioning our name, but who is in the shelter? Us or them? We were there only the first day.
Several people had reported the situation regarding the Mastiff’s injury to the sisters, but they chose to wait, they said there was no problem. This resulted in the wound becoming gangrenous. In any case, he was taken to the veterinary clinic in Perugia and treated, so assistance was timely. They complain because they see some mice, but it is absurd to think that in such a place in the countryside that no mice are to be seen. I repeat, they have escaped from the bombs and from the serious risk of violence to take pictures of the mice, to accuse a country that has opened its heart, always complaining and harassing the owner of the shelter.  As a result of all of these accusations, the status of shelter which is approved by the health department risk to be questioned. So even even if these defamatory posts are through social media, Lia is afraid of this.
We are deeply disappointed, this behavior, this lack of respect for the people helping and the host country is unacceptable.
I want to reiterate that we as a group organized the trip, we assisted them even after for several days and our task is now over, now they are guests of a shelter and are under the charge of the veterinary authorities of the province of Perugia. There is a very professional and patient doctor who follows them and everything is done according to regulations and law. Also, the declaration of their presence, as well as of the dog’s was communicated to the local police. Clearly, we will not turn away, we are with Lia, all will be done in the best interest of the dogs.
Let me stress that dogs are being followed by the ASL (public health department) and are doing well. But now we no longer want to keep up with these type of posts, with these tantrums.
We are sure of your understanding when we say that we will no longer answer these provocations, because the question as for our part, is closed, because we do not consider it appropriate to pursue and above all respond, with regarding to such accusations, whoever desires to consult the site or the group, will find photos, documents and reports from our part.  However, out of respect for those who donated and for the duty of information. If necessary, we will still give post updates.
I’d like to conclude with a nice thought. I’d like to pass on the feeling of a message that a member of our group sent to me today, something that I fully agree with and I believe that many of you will also. She wrote that despite everything, she is happy that two women and 82 dogs were brought here, that regardless of their behavior, regardless of how it will end, having kept even just 2 people and 82 dogs safe was a beautiful thing. This is the heart of us Italians, despite everything, this is the heart we have! I can only hope that Tanya and Ljuba will read this thought.
